This piece focuses on the blatant propaganda that we buy into everyday. Whether it is from one extreme or the other. The narrative is always skewed. This is a very personal subject to me because of my experience being in an abusive relationship where every bit of information was manipulated to create a narrative to keep me paralyzed by his control over me. My emotions were used against me. He tried to kill pieces of me that did not suit him and his agenda. He made me believe that those who loved me were evil and out to get me, and that he was my savior and the only way to redemption.
